The Boat Shed restaurant is what dining on the Sunshine Coast is all about. The venue is casual, relaxed and is perched on the edge of the Maroochy River with views to the river mouth, Mt Coolum and beyond. The Boat Shed was established in 1997 and is firmly entrenched in the local dining scene. There's not too many better ways to lose an afternoon than sitting in a couch under the cotton tree with a nice bottle of wine, a plate of tappas and watching the pelicans float by.

The restaurant is renowned for its food and service, whilst the menu has a seafood focus it is broad enough to cater to all tastes. The Boat Shed is an a la carte restaurant however guests are more than welcome to stop by for a casual coffee or a glass of wine on the couches under the tree.
